THE COUNTDOWN... - Production Diary

Mar. 27th, 2007 10:16 am THE COUNTDOWN...

FOUR MORE DAYS, folks! "Ten 'til Noon" starts its theatrical run in the U.S. this Friday, March 30th, 2007! It's been a long, hard road with lots of cheers and tears, but it's finally here! Any of you that are local, if you drive by the Laemmle Sunset 5, at the corner of Crescent Heights and Sunset Boulevard, you can see the huge banner for the movie from the street! Below are the details of the Los Angeles run. Soon, we'll roll out into other states and other venues!

Now, a very kind journalist in Orange County dubbed us "The Best Film since Pulp Fiction!" High praise indeed. Both Paul and I are are huge fans of Tarantino AND Robert Rodriguez. So you can imagine how elated I was to attend the WORLD PREMIERE of GRINDHOUSE, last evening at the Orpheum in downtown Los Angeles. I was priveleged to be among the very best in the business, and I only wish I'd mustered the courage to tell them so. Alas, I was content to sit back and watch it all happen around me and keep on dreaming big. The entire female cast contingent even sang "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to QT, which was real treat to witness. Especially since my own birthday fell just a day previous! Happy Birthday indeed QT, from ALL OF US at "Ten 'til Noon"! Click below for really BAD quality but VERY cool clip of Quentin and Robert that I took with my camera phone. It's 15 seconds of Quentin encouraging the audience to take a nice bathroom break so you can come back and just "Figure shit out." What an amazing duo they are. My hat is off to them both for paving the way for we filmmakers who have yet to make our marks. THANKS GUYS!

Re: in Jersey

Bob, I'm afraid not. But the DVD will street across the country sometime this summer. Keep checking back for updates! Thanks!
